We provide local shifting services throughout the entire metropolitan area, including all neighborhoods and suburbs within a 50-mile radius. Our most common service areas include downtown apartments, suburban homes, and college housing. For moves beyond this range, we offer competitive rates for slightly longer distances - just ask about our extended local moving options.
We understand that local moves often need to happen quickly. For small moves (studio/1-bedroom), we can often arrange same-day service if you call by 10am. For larger moves, we typically need 24-48 hours notice. During peak moving seasons (summer months, weekends), we recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance. Emergency moves are available for an additional fee.
Our hourly rate includes: 1) Truck and fuel, 2) Moving crew (2-3 professionals depending on job size), 3) Basic packing supplies (blankets, straps, dollies), 4) Loading and unloading, 5) Transportation between locations, and 6) Basic furniture assembly/disassembly. Additional fees may apply for packing materials, specialty items, or flights of stairs. We provide transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
